Needles are also placed in other parts of the body (usually the arms and legs) to address any underlying imbalances. Your acupuncturist may use additional techniques to further stimulate facial muscles such as facial gua sha and/or facial cupping. Cosmetic acupuncture is typically done in 10 sessions for the best results. Follow-up sessions are recommended to maintain progress. Rejuvenation with Microneedling: Microneedling effectively treats fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, improves skin texture and color and dramatically enhances the effectiveness of skincare products. Visible results begin on the first day and continue for weeks afterward. As collagen levels continue to build up, your skin becomes more luminous and the complexion more even.
